Quick answer
VAPT (Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing) combines automated scanning to find known weaknesses with manual, ethical hacking to prove which ones can actually be exploited. The result is a prioritised report of real risks, with evidence and fix guidance, so you can secure the issues that matter first.
Do you need this service?
- You are launching a new website, app or API
- A client, bank or auditor asked for a VAPT report
- Your site was hacked, defaced or blacklisted
- You handle logins, payments or personal data
- You haven't had a security test in over a year
- Strange redirects, spam pages or admin users appeared
Vulnerability assessment vs penetration testing
A vulnerability assessment is broad: scanners and configuration reviews list known weaknesses across your stack. A penetration test is deep: a tester attempts to chain weaknesses together the way a real attacker would. Doing both gives coverage and proof — you learn what is exposed and what is genuinely exploitable.
What we test — aligned with the OWASP Top 10
Our methodology follows the OWASP Top 10 and the OWASP Web Security Testing Guide, the most widely referenced standards for web application security.
- Broken access control — users reaching data or functions they shouldn't (IDOR, privilege escalation)
- Cryptographic failures — weak TLS, exposed secrets, unencrypted sensitive data
- Injection — SQL injection, command injection, cross-site scripting (XSS)
- Insecure design and business-logic flaws, such as payment or coupon abuse
- Security misconfiguration — default credentials, verbose errors, missing security headers
- Vulnerable and outdated components — old CMS plugins, libraries and frameworks
- Authentication failures — weak password policies, session handling, missing MFA
- Server-side request forgery (SSRF) and API-specific weaknesses
Black-box, grey-box and white-box testing
Black-box testing simulates an outside attacker with no inside knowledge. Grey-box testing uses a normal user account to find what a logged-in customer could abuse. White-box testing adds source code and architecture access for the deepest review. We recommend the right mix based on your risk, budget and compliance needs.
What you receive
Every engagement ends with documentation you can act on and share with stakeholders.
- Executive summary in plain business language
- Technical findings with proof-of-concept evidence and affected URLs
- Severity rating for each issue using CVSS scoring
- Step-by-step remediation guidance for your developers
- Free re-test of fixed issues within the agreed window
- Re-test confirmation letter for clients or auditors
Hacked website recovery and hardening
If your site is already compromised, we contain the incident, remove malware and backdoors, close the entry point, request blacklist reviews where needed and harden the server, CMS and hosting so it doesn't happen again.
Our web security & vapt process
- STEP 01
Scope & authorisation
We agree targets, test type, timing and rules of engagement in writing before any testing starts.
- STEP 02
Reconnaissance & scanning
Mapping of your attack surface and automated discovery of known vulnerabilities.
- STEP 03
Manual exploitation
Ethical, controlled attempts to validate and chain findings — without damaging data.
- STEP 04
Report, fix & re-test
Prioritised report, remediation support for your team, and verification that fixes work.
Honest, Google-compliant work
What we do
- Test only systems you own or are authorised to test
- Sign an NDA before receiving any access
- Keep testing safe and non-destructive
- Explain every finding in language your team understands
What we never do
- Test third-party systems without written permission
- Promise a site is 'unhackable' — security is continuous
- Sell or share your vulnerability data
Frequently asked questions
How long does a VAPT engagement take?
A small website typically takes a few working days; larger web applications and APIs take longer. We give a timeline after understanding the scope.
Will testing take my website down?
Testing is designed to be safe. High-impact tests are agreed in advance and can be scheduled off-hours or run against a staging environment.
Do you provide a VAPT certificate or report for clients?
Yes. You receive a full report and, after fixes are re-tested, a confirmation letter you can share with clients, banks or auditors.
How often should we run VAPT?
At least once a year, and after any major release, infrastructure change or security incident.
Can you fix the vulnerabilities as well?
Yes. Our development team can implement fixes directly, or we can guide your in-house developers.
